The Marion County Emergency Management Agency works closely with the Marion County 911, the Marion County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), and city governments to develop, maintain, and implement the County Emergency Plan. EMA is also directly involved in disaster response providing emergency coordination assistance for local governments and  liaison with State and Federal agencies during and after disasters.
